Read MoreOur ability to continue to provide the most thoughtful and reliable level of care and service we can, depends heavily on the quality of our caregiver team. We’re grateful for our team everyday and believe we have the best caregivers in the Kansas City area.
As such, it’s important for us to try to do best for our team and cultivate a culture of respect, independence, accountability, and inclusion.
From paying you more than other in-home care companies, to providing healthcare and retirement benefits, we are committed to making your caregiving career with us unlike anywhere else.
“Not only are the people we take care of great, but so is the management. They work very hard to work around everyone's busy schedules, and understand that life happens. They are definitely the back bone to the company. In return, they treat me like family.”
Our custom in-home care plans are unique to the individual's and family's situation and needs. Always have been, and always will be. We treat our clients, and our caregivers, like family.
Our caregivers are important for a business's present, and our future. We wanted to contribute to our caregivers' present and future too – with healthcare insurance and a matching retirement plan. Not all in-home care companies offer this for their employees, but we feel it's important!
Working for a local independent company, your voice and opinion matters more. You'll have more of a direct effect and contribution on a person's custom caregiving plan than you would working for a large health system or franchise agency.
Our caregivers average $14-$17/hr depending on experience; average weekly hours at 40 hrs + potential for overtime (for full-time) and 10-30 hrs (for part-time). Full time = $560-$680/week. Plus, when you're on our team, you're able to earn up to $350 when you refer someone you know to come work with us!
We provide an online eduction program that allows our team to keep current on their education. CareAcademy has an extensive library ranging from food safety and personal care to a new dementia care curriculum developed by expert Teepa Snow.
Matching the right caregivers with our clients is very important to us. This process factors in your personal schedule and skill sets, while still giving us the ability to be flexible where necessary and appropriate. We don't just 'fill shifts'.
“Premier Custom Care is different from any company I’ve worked for before. The primary focus is the client & family - “safe, happy, healthy!” is their motto. I became an RN because I wanted to help people, but it was always frustrating working for healthcare corporations that value money over patient care. It is rewarding to provide quality care and be of service to others. I feel honored to work for and with such a great team!”
“PCC truly follows through with their slogan "we'll treat you like family" anything a client or caregiver needs they will help with or find someone to help.”
We want you to enjoy the work you do and end the day with a smile knowing you impacted someone's life. Beyond that, here are some potential responsibilities you'll have depending on our client's needs.
